SEPA Instant: executed within seconds, available 24/7/365 where supported by both institutions
Standard SEPA: processed in batches during business days
Last cut-off time: 15:30 CET
Payments submitted on SEPA bank holidays are processed on the next business day
If SEPA Instant is not supported by the receiving institution, the transfer falls back to standard SEPA.
GBP – Faster Payments and CHAPS
For GBP transfers:
Faster Payments is the default rail and operates 24/7/365, with most transfers completed within seconds
CHAPS is used where required for high-value or specific use cases
BGN – BISERA
BGN transfers are processed via BISERA.
Multiple cut-off times per business day
Last cut-off at 16:00 EET
Payments submitted on Bulgarian bank holidays are processed on the next business day
Inbound BGN transfers are processed every 60 seconds, enabling near-instant crediting
